In affiliation with the Victoria Institure of Clinical Research & Evaluation (Vic R&E) at the Victoria General Hospital, the Mature Women’s Centre is conducting several research studies and clinical trials that will advance the overall health of mature women.

What is a Clinical Trial?
Clinical trials are carefully designed studies that evaluate new medications used to treat a variety of disease. All studies are closely governed by Health Canada and the FDA. Clinical studies done at the Mature Women’s Centre are approved by the University of Manitoba Board of Ethics.

Becoming a research candidate is a way for people to contribute to the understanding and treatment of disease.
