Treatment Induced Menopause
Natural menopause is a life transition that occurs gradually over a period of time.  Cessation of menstruation naturally occurs between the ages of 45 to 55, and is accompanied by several subtle body changes.  These body changes are a result of the gradual decrease in female hormones and often take place over a period of years.

Women who have experienced the surgical removal of both ovaries, or have required medical treatment such as chemotherapy or gynecological radiation may find that the sudden decrease in female hormones will create a whirlwind of physical, emotional, and sexual changes.  You may feel confused with all the information available on natural menopause, so we have summarized the treatment induced menopause information for you.  It is hoped that in learning about your body changes, current options available to you, and where to look for further resources, you will enjoy many years of good health and well being.
