"I worked at the Vic for over 20 years, so David and I shared a long history with this hospital. He would be pleased to be part of something that will make such a positive difference in our community."

Claudia Bridges and her family, owners of Champ Industries, host an annual golf tournament in memory of her husband David. Proceeds from the tournament are donated in David's memory to support the Vic's new Buhler Cancer Centre. The Bridges have been long-time supporters of the Victoria General Hospital Foundation and share a connection with the hospital and the many Miracle Workers who are changing and saving lives on a daily basis.
In just two years, the tournament has raised over $20,000 for the Buhler Cancer Centre in David's memory. His name is now listed on the Vic's beautiful memorial wall and a treatment room in the bright and spacious new Cancer Centre has been named in his honour.
The Bridges family and all supporters of the David Bridges Memorial Tournament are helping to create a positive difference for people living with cancer in our community.
