Since 1993, more than $1.7 million in donated funds have been used to investigate ways of improving care for our patients. Studies have explored a wide variety of important patient care issues including medication handling, the effectiveness of medical equipment, and patient satisfaction. As a result of this research, many necessary improvements have been made.
Today, research at the Vic is carried out by the Victoria Institute of Clinical Research & Evaluation (VIC R&E). VIC R&E is an experienced multi-disciplinary team committed to providing the highest quality of evidence-based research, using ample initiatives to advance healthcare into new domains. VIC R&E's mission is to be a caring, creative and accountable research unit while transforming healthcare.
