We have bi-annual membership luncheons, which feature educational speakers for all Guild members.
Please see the events calendar for upcoming educational events.
We offer two scholarships;
- The Mattie Hanna Scholarship is to assist junior volunteers and evening/student volunteers who meet the criteria and have been accepted into a health care related field.
- The Bea Dunstone Staff Scholarship assists support staff at the Victoria General Hospital who meet the criteria and are pursuing or upgrading their education in a health care related field.
Applications and details for scholarships can be obtained from the Volunteer Services Office by calling (204) 477-3347. The scholarships are given at the discretion of the Guild Board on the recommendation of the Scholarship Committee. |
